Amar Autotech will take

The UNIDO Partnership Programme, a joint project by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and the Government of India, to strengthen the small and medium scale industries to face the challenges of meeting the stringent quality requirements of the automotive industry; by focusing on productivity and quality improvement skills and techniques and further enhancing their performance and competitiveness to facilitate their inclusion on the global supply chains. Amar Automotives joined this programme in January 2005.

This programme is spread over 30 months and exposes all the employees extensively with thorough in-plant training and shop floor interventions, emphasizing on 5S, Inventory Management, Productivity Improvement, TPM, TQM, and Lean Manufacturing processes.

The modules which are covered in this programme are 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Daily Work Management, Kaizen Methodology, Pokayoke, 3M's, Inventory Turn Ratio, Containerization, SMED, One Piece Flow, Kobetsu Kaizen, Process Capability, Measurement System Analysis, 7 Q.C. Tools, Takt Time, Standard Operating Procedures, Planned Maintenance, Value Stream Mapping, FMEA, APQP, Kanban etc. By the end of this programme, Amar Automotives aims to be a high profit organization, producing a wide variety of products for various applications, and yielding higher productivity and profitability, by offering competitiveness, better responsiveness to customers, and attaining high quality levels.
